April is the perfect month to celebrate the most notorious duo of pranksters in the Wizarding World, Fred and George Weasley. Born on April Fools’ Day, the twins were passionate about pranking their fellow wizards left and right, so much so that they co-founded and ran Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, a joke shop located at Number 93 Diagon Alley.
This duo is definitely not a one-trick pony or perhaps a one-trick unicorn in the slightest – their shop features thousands of tricks which could only have been created by the greatest mischievous jesters of all time. Many of their products are doubtfully safe for adults and children alike, however, their colourful and whimsical design fascinates and intrigues many wizards and witches.
Even though no wizard or muggle is able to visit the physical version of their shop at the moment, we’ve put together some goodies that we believe could be found at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, so you can have a bit of their buffoonery in the comfort of your own home.
Love Potions
Part of Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes’ WonderWitch line, their special 24-hour love potions were a hit at Hogwarts although strictly prohibited. This didn’t stop the brothers as they found a way to smuggle this concoction into school, disguised as perfumes and cough potions. After all, they did sell the “best range of love potion you’ll find anywhere.”
Our love potions might not be as intense as Fred and George’s but are still stunning and we’re certain that any wizard (or muggle) will love them! We have available love potion stud earrings, Swarovski crystals love potion slider charms, sterling silver love potion necklaces and love potion ball bead bracelets.
Wands
Don’t use Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes’ wands in a duel as these might turn into rubber chickens or other random objects as soon as you used them to cast a spell.
Our wands might not transform into random objects but they do come as necklaces, so you can add something special to any outfit. We stock Harry Potter sterling silver wand necklaces and Lord Voldermort sterling silver wand necklaces. Which one will you choose?
Chocolate frogs
Even though the duo has never technically sold chocolate frogs in their shop, they did sell a variety of questionable candy, such as Fever Fudge, Nosebleed Nougat and Puking Pastilles which cause all kinds of horrible side effects. How candies be even legal?
We can imagine that if Fred and George ever decided to sell chocolate frogs in their shop, they would definitely not taste like chocolate. Our chocolate frogs are candy-like jewellery, thus not edible (we know they look tasty, but again, not edible!). Our ribbeting range of chocolate frog jewellery includes chocolate frog keyrings, chocolate frog pin badges, chocolate frog slider charms and chocolate frog necklaces.
