If you are thinking of banishing lockdown boredom with an epic Harry Potter film marathon, take it to the next level with the perfect attire, magical quizzes and the right snacks which you’d find at a Common House party or a Hogwarts’ feast.
1. Compete with the fluffiness of a Pygmy Puff.
Put on your fluffiest woolly sweater in your House’s colour and some comfy bottoms to enjoy this marathon in the cosiest way possible. Don’t forget your knitted mismatched socks and your favourite piece of Harry Potter jewellery to bring the whole look together.
2. If you can’t go to Hogwarts, then Hogwarts must go to you.
Close your curtains, incendio the fireplace and add a few candles or fairy lights around the room for the perfect magical atmosphere – it will feel like you are back at Hogwarts for the annual Hallowe’en party or at Nearly-Headless Nick's Deathday Party (minus the horrible smell!).
3. Keep Dementors away with chocolate.
Chocolate has mood-enhancing properties which are the perfect antidote if you’ve been in contact with Dementors. Check out our chocolate frog jewellery – from chocolate frog necklaces to chocolate frog pin badges.
Grab some popcorn, Black Cat Brand’s potato crisps, pumpkin juice and some butterbeer. And if you are starting to fall asleep, Wakey-Up Brew to the rescue (or simply leave the rest for tomorrow – two Harry Potter days are always better than one).
4. Bring out the Hermione in you.
After watching the movies, be as sharp as Hermione and see how good your Harry Potter knowledge is by completing the ultimate Harry Potter film-binge quiz.
The eight Harry Potter movies can be watched on Sky Movies and if you still have some energy in you, all the Fantastic Beasts’ films are available on Amazon!
