Environment
We will work to reduce our Scope 1,2, & 3 CO2 Emissions on an annual basis by monitoring energy use and utilising renewable energy options.
The Carat Shop will work with accredited companies to facilitate carbon offset schemes.
We will increase our use of recycled packaging for our products.
All packaging used by The Carat Shop will be from an FSC Certified source.
We will consider all options in decisions regarding transport of product both from our supply base and to our customer base.
Supply Chain
We are committed to work with accredited 3rd party auditors to ensure that our supply chain meets internationally recognised ethical and labour standards.
We require 100% of our suppliers to sign up to our Code of Practice.
We require 100% of our suppliers to sign up to our Ethical Standards Policy.
Product
Where the production process allows, we will incorporate the use of recycled materials in product manufacture.
The Carat Shop aim to ensure that all materials used are sourced from responsible, environmental, and ethical sources.
