5 Things Professor Albus Dumbledore Taught Us

As any Potterhead would tell you, June 30th is an emotional day. It marks the tragic day when Professor Albus Dumbledore was killed by Severus Snape during the Battle of the Astronomy Tower – a heartbreaking day for all. Today, instead of shedding tears, let’s rejoice at some of the wonderful things we’ve learnt from this incredible wizard.

1. “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

2. “Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.”

3. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”

4. “It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.”

5. “Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it.”

Dumbledore’s wise words will always have a space in our hearts and sometimes we all need a bit of Dumbledore in our lives. We have a collection of Dumbledore jewellery to make sure the greatest wizard of all time keeps us company and offers some words of advice, when needed.
